Galaxy S25 Edge's "huge" camera specs revealed when using the same sensor as the S25 Ultra?
Although it did not appear at the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, the Galaxy S25 Edge - the flagship with an ultra-thin design - is still a hot topic of interest to the technology community. Recently, leaker @PandaFlashPro revealed some interesting information about the camera configuration of this device.
Accordingly, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be equipped with a dual camera, instead of 3 cameras as many previously predicted. The most notable highlight is that the S25 Edge will share the same 200MP main sensor with its "brother" the Galaxy S25 Ultra, promising to bring extremely sharp photography capabilities.
However, the second ultra-wide-angle camera of the S25 Edge only has a resolution of 12MP, similar to the standard Galaxy S25, instead of 50MP like the S25 Ultra. The reason may come from Samsung wanting to save production costs, or to create a clearer distinction between the versions.
In addition to the camera, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
With impressive configuration parameters and an ultra-thin design, the Galaxy S25 Edge will certainly be a formidable competitor in the high-end smartphone segment when it launches in the second quarter of this year.
